I can't believe its nearly Christmas already! It feels like I have lost a whole year and I guess in a way I have. Cancer'll do that to you but every day I get stronger and I have stopped having crazy hospital nightmares thank god.
There is a lot of writing going on now but not anything that anyone else would want to read I dont think. Its mostly depressing poetry about pain and anger and all the icky stuff Ive been working my way through. I did get out my notes on both novels the other day and read through them which in turn led to some editing and thus some real writing. Not enough to get excited about but for me it was a breakthrough of some kind. Proof almost that they had not removed my brain during surgery I just thought they had. lol. So perhaps the masterpieces will be finished one day after all.
I hope this picure loads. I thought Henry was massive (106k) but this Mastiff takes the cake. He weighs in at well over 200lb and has feet the size of soft balls. I cant imagine the increased drool factor given the size of his mouth.

So glad to hear things are getting back on track. I have been looking at your site every week to see when you'd 'join' us again.
Isn't poetry wonderful for the angst factor.
Some of the greatest poems have been written in the process of catharsis.

We finish at TAFE on the 30th November, but as yet have had no word on subjects for next year, though Catherine has said she will not be on campus next year, but will continue with on line subjects.
Hey Vi, So happy to hear that you're well on the mend and even revising!!! That's such good news. You've been on all our minds and in our hearts. Love to the kids, too!
Thanks to you both for thinking of me. Perhaps I'll check out the online courses for next year, one of those just might get me going again. Although, I was thinking of applying for State library funding to research and write the 'Walhalla novel' but I'm not sure how to go about it yet. The kids both say Hi Catherine and we all wish you a lovely holiday season . You too Gloria and Ill try to blog more often.
The students doing the Editing and Writing this year are having a break up Christmas party on Thursday 6th December 2007 at the Trafalgar Pub at 11.30 a.m.
