I was going to look for a nice photo of myself to post but lets face it, there just arn't any, so I chose one of me, just being me. I spend a lot of time out in the paddocks with my horses and dogs, that is when I'm not playing taxi to two budding socialites or trying to write. If and when I get a spare moment I quilt. Yeh I know it's kind of nerdy but I love fabric and color. I think I must have been an artist or a fashion designer in a past life. Or possibly a bag lady, because I can't seem to throw fabric away. There are bags and boxes, plastic containers , all full of bits that might come in handy one day. I could probably dress a third world country without too much trouble.

Oh, do that... clothe Ethiopia and you'll own them, then you could have an army...

Ummm... I have no idea what Greg actually meant, but it sounded vaguely racist.

Doing something nerdy means that what you are doing is not cool, and when you are doing something that is not cool, you are taking it way too far. To me, it doesn't sound like you are taking quilting too far, thus it isn't nerdy. Unless you find it rebellious (in a hollow way) to identify as a nerd, but once agian, as I keep stating, that's just my opinion.

I think greg was commenting on the fact that I said I could possibly clothe a third world country with all the fabric I have tucked away.
